VCFSE

The Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE)

Many VCFSE organisations and sports clubs provide education and activities for children as part of their work. Similar to staff in schools and colleges, the staff and volunteers working with children in these settings will often play an important role in building relationships, identifying concerns, and providing direct support to children. They can often be the first trusted adult to whom a child reports abuse. Therefore, many of these organisations will have a crucial role to play in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The cMARS arrangements provide a number of resources to support the VCFSE sector which can be found here on the cMARS website from training courses, E-learning, tools, resources and information about conferences and events.
