Road Safety

Safer Roads Humber is the regional road‑safety partnership for the Humber area, working to reduce the number of people killed or injured on local roads through education, engagement, enforcement and data‑led activity. The partnership brings together key agencies including Humberside Police, local councils, National Highways and Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, all working collaboratively to improve safety for every type of road user—including pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders, drivers and motorcyclists.

North Lincolnshire Council’s Road Safety Education and Training service provides a comprehensive programme of road‑safety education, skills development and training for children and young people across the area. The council is required under the Road Traffic Act 1988 to promote road safety, including providing education and training for all road users.
